Last night in yoga while we were all in Shavasana our instructor shared a story about having to make a decision. In the story he told how he had to make a big choice, one that would impact his life. He shared his modality for making this choice and suggested that we give our selves quite alone time for reflection, then he invited us to use our time on our mats for this. Yoga is actually where I do a lot of my thinking however I realized that I am not great at making choices and it has made several life experiences harder for me. Then I realized I have never even talked to any one about how to make a hard choice. so. How do you make your hard choices?

I too feel like I make horrible decisions, I am so grateful to have found a life partner in my best friend. I go to him for everything, every big decision in my life is also part of him so he helps me through it. I feel like finding someone you trust completely can help you talk through pros and cons and help you make the best choice for you.

I have learned to "trust my gut." I have found that my first instinct is the path I choose about 90% of the time!

Yes both cool answers. Any one going to classes this weekend? I am teaching tonight, which I love but I taught last night too and sometimes it makes it hard to stay up with my personal practice. I remember thinking when I was in teacher training, " oh how lovely now I will be able to do yoga all the time! " lol SOOOO not the same.

I might go to your Saturday class! Saturday's are hard though because those are my days with my babies, and my schedule revolves around what they're doing. I also am almost always at Pilates 4:30 on Sundays.

Trust the Gut aka Intuition. We know even if we do not have the courage to follow through.

@JC Nat Your so right! It especially sucks when you know- and you don't want that to be the answer... that type of dissonance is so stressful!
